Southwold

There's so much to do here including the beach, the pier, the lighthouse and the beautiful high-street bursting with shops, pubs, restaurants and fish and chip shops.

Dunwich

It is known as the lost city of England, where you can explore the forest, heath and beach and visit the museum.

Africa Alive

This is set in 100 acres of idyllic Suffolk countryside, run by the zoological society of East Anglia. It is a national conservation hub committed to preserving wild futures, engaging the public and sustaining our environment.

Walberswick

This is a wild and windswept beach with the nature reserve just north of this. You can access this beach by crossing the harbour bridge and walking through the dunes. This beach is very popular with surfers, kite surfers and canoeists.

Local shops & Pubs

Wangford

There are a couple of places in the village of Wangford within 5 minutes walk from Wangers.

  • The Angel Inn. Fantastic food, 4.6* rating on google and great atmosphere.
  • The Village Shop. This shop has everything you might need including the yummy COOK, frozen takeaway meals for an easy, cosy night in.
